1) The music will be open to new sounds and experimentation that transcend the typical labels and categorization that occurs within the music scene.
2) The events will focus on Canadian and local talent only. Celebrating the the immense talent of Torontonian and Canadian artists has always been a challenge. Many artists have found themselves escaping to other cities abroad because of lack of interest in Canada, or found themselves stifled by the "tall poppy" syndrome that plagues much of the electronic scene in Canadian cities (especially Toronto).
This means no special out of country guests...this is about enjoying the talent in our own community. Period.
3) The events will flow from beginning to end under the guidance of live performances only. The artists will create the vibe, the transition and mood for the entire night.
This means no DJs. Not because we don't love the work DJs do, but because these events will be a celebration of the live music element, built on spontaneity and creativity of the artists and their instruments.
